This extensive hospital wall artwork will not only be a permanent memorial for organ donors and their families, but also an inspirational artwork to welcome visitors to the University Hospital Southampton.
This public artwork took over three days to install over a Bank Holiday weekend. Visitor numbers were therefore lower than usual but all comments were extremely positive. Many loved how the colours we used enhanced the entrance atrium and were wowed by the impressive scale of the artwork. A number of patients in fact visited the installation numerous times to see the artwork gradually unfurling, taking photos and talking about how they couldn’t wait to see it finally installed.
We worked with John Simpson of Onsite Print Installations who we always love working with, along with his assistant Lee. As usual his installation was straightforward and meticulous. Thank you John!
